One more week of app making and we are ready to have these apps on the devices! All of the guys in the class made some serious progress this week and I am confident all apps are ready to go. It was great also to see a few students helping each other learn different tricks and making sure the whole group was proud of their app. I am sure you as parents will be proud of these apps too!

The girls continued to work on improving their skills in competitive and game like situations. We reinforced individual skills with 1v1s before introducing numbers up game tactics with a 2v1 drill to goal.

Another very successful class today at Westland! Started off by stretching, reviewing good eating habits and making sure we understand that it is necessary to increase water consumption as the weather gets hotter. Then we performed several sets of wall sits alternating with sprints. Everyone performed these very well, probably because they were excited to get a chance to run in the school hallways. Next we performed multiple strength exercises focusing on proper mechanics and core stabilization. We finished the class outside with plyometrics and more sprints. Excellent class and looking forward to finishing off the spring session next week with a very intense workout.
